Connie Conley

Connie L. Conley, age 69, of Waverly passed away Tuesday April 16th 2024. She was born April 15th 1955, in Amanda, to the late Robert Bethel and Annabelle Bethel. She is a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek, class of 1973. She loved gardening, painting, and spending time with her loving husband, daughter, and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband, Allan L. Conley, of Waverly; daughter Christina (Ricky) Donahue, of Lancaster; grandchildren, Cierra Molloy, of Waverly, Crystal Molloy, of Waverly, and Nova Donahue, of Waverly; son in law, Landon Wamsley of Waverly; and other family members.

"Everyone knew her as Connie, but I knew her as my grandmother. She showed me what it meant to be resilient, loving, and strong. The life lessons and wisdom my grandmother taught me are the reason I'm still here today. I knew she feared being forgotten, but she won't be, because she lives on within me."

"My Mamaw was such a wonderful woman. Whenever I needed guidance, she was always right there for me, knowing exactly what to say or do. She helped turn me into who I am today and taught me how to push through whatever hardships I would have. Mamaw knew how to make a house into a home, and I will forever be thankful for it. Her strong will is something that I'll always remember. She was truly one of a kind."

A graveside burial will be Monday, April 22nd, 2024 at 1 p.m. for family and friends at Omega Cemetery.
