Colleen H. Bradley

Colleen H. Bradley, age 98, of Circleville and formerly of Waverly, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at Berger Hospital in Circleville. She was born December 28, 1926, in Follansbee, WV, to Carl Newton and Gladys Genevieve (Parrish) Hunter.

Colleen was a longtime resident of Waverly, Ohio and moved to Circleville in 2012 after the death of her husband, Wayne Turley Bradley whom she married on April 5, 1946. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death be her parents; her sister, Anna Mae Fryer; great granddaughter, Julia Elizabeth Barch; and her special canine companion, Miss Trudy. She is survived by her 3 children, Deborah K. Barch, Diane E. Smith, and David W. (Debbie) Bradley; grandchildren, Aaron Barch and his daughters, Ella and Grace; Jason (Sarah) Bradley, and their children, Tyler and Tessa Bradley, and Logan and Luke Williams; Rebekah Bradley; Jenna (A.J.) Phillips, and their daughters, Brynn and Emmy; Kalynn (Kevin) Moore, and their sons, Maclane and Riggs; nephews, Randy (Rita) Fryer, Richard (Nancy) Fryer, and niece, Janet (Bill) Bodnar, and their daughters, Anna and Laura.

During Colleen's many years in Waverly, she was active at Grace U.M.C. where she was a secretary, served bereavement meals, and served on many other church committees. Prior to Wayne's death, they attended Waverly First Baptist Church. She was a 60-plus year member of the Waverly Chapter #99, O.E.S. After Wayne's passing, she moved and became a member of Circleville First Baptist Church where she was active in the Women's Mission Group. Colleen retired from Goodyear Atomic Corporation where she worked in the insurance department.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Boyer Funeral Home, 125 W. Second St., Waverly, with Pastor Billy Barbo officiating. Interment will be at Waverly Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are in the care of Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda.
