Clarence Ralph Holsinger Sr., age 80 of Lancaster, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at Fairfield Medical Center peacefully in his sleep with family at his bed side. He was born January 25, 1942, in Groveport, the son of the late Ed and Faye (Morehart) Holsinger. Ralph served as a U.S. Marine, boot camped in California and was in the Bay of Pigs. He worked construction in Florida and then became a truck driver along the entire East Coast for many years. Ralph enjoyed fishing, putting together puzzles, and watching Westerns. He was a kind soul with a contagious smile. If you knew him, he was also stubborn as a Mule.
Ralph is survived by four children; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; six children; and three brothers.
Funeral service with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda with Pastor Phil Whitfield officiating. Cremation will follow the service. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
