Carl Casey

   Carl L. Casey, age 67, of Amanda, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at his home. He was born August 5, 1956, in Lancaster, son of the late Meriable “Lee” and Emma Jane (Meadows) Casey. Carl was a graduate of Lancaster High School, class of 1975 and the former co-owner of Casey's Radiator and Automotive in Lancaster. He loved to hunt, fish, camp and collect useful junk. Carl especially loved spending time in Apple Grove, WV with his family and friends.  
  

   He is survived by his son, Eric (Stephanie) Casey and daughter, Ashley (Jeff) Swisher, both of Lancaster; two grandchildren, Emma and Colin Casey; and many, cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Cheryl; and sister Jane Casey.

   A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation has been arranged in the care of the funeral home.
