Brenda Scarberry

Brenda L. Scarberry, age 72, of Carroll, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, at her home. Brenda was born in Columbus, OH to Charles and Martha (Randles) Grady on February 23, 1953. She was a graduate of Brookhaven High School, class of 1971. She formerly owned and operated C & B Concessions along with her father. She enyoyed boating and yard-saleing, and riding her Harley. Most importantly, she enjoyed time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Charles Scarberry; three sons, Shawn (Lisa) Scarberry, of Amanda, Charlie Scarberry, of Amanda, and Hobie (Mallory) Scarberry, of Carroll; grandchildren, Leah, Hobie Jr., Hayden, Blake, Tally, Rocky, Phoebe, and Hudson; one great granddaughter, Ellianna; siblings, Marilyn (Rick) Freitag, of Carroll, Steve (Becky) Grady, of Grove City, and Patricia (Ed) Moore, of London; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Marcy Trinity Lutheran Church, 9980 Marcy Road, Ashville, with Pastor Jeremy Ownby officiting. Interment will follow at Lithopolis Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the church.
