Betty J. Stevens

   Betty J. Stevens, age 90 of Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at her residence. She was born December 18, 1929 in Pickaway County, daughter of the late Floyd and Grace (VanFossen) Francis. She was retired from G.E. in Circleville. She was a member of the Southeast Ohio Dairy Goat Association and the Hocking Valley Steam Thrashers Association.

   She is survived by her sons, Max “Gene” (Carolyn) Stevens, of Amanda and Jeff (Vicky) Stevens, of Lancaster; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max E. Stevens; brothers, Harold, Edgar, and Bernard Francis; sisters, Mildred Stevens, Lena Myers, and Sue Deffenbaugh.

  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda. Interment will follow at Reber Hill Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. The funeral may also be viewed live at the funeral home’s Facebook page.  In accordance with State mandates, COVID Protocols including facial coverings and social distancing will be followed.
