Betty Affolter

Betty Affolter, age 77, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the Pickering House. She was born October 22, 1946, the daughter of the late Leo Harper and Willa Harper-Gregory. She was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School in Charleston, West Virginia. Betty was known for her love and dedication to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her best friends were her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children Denise (Tim) Stevenson of Canal Winchester, Andrew (Danni) Affolter of Seattle; grandchildren, Travis Stevenson, Sara Stevenson, Ethan Affolter; great grandchildren, Harper and Riley; siblings, Wanda Hutchinson, and Kenneth Gregory. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Affolter; siblings, Mary Walters, Della Moore, Leo Harper, and Steve Gregory.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, 111 W. Main St. Amanda, OH. A brief funeral service will follow beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Thomas Cemetery in Charleston, WV.
